Founded in 1995 by Brother Frederick Turbide (1955–2016) and his wife Sister Maria Chaves-Turbide (1955–2024), Novel Notion has been operating as a union-focused company for over 30 years.
Built on relationships, trust, and service to working organizations, Brother Frederick and Sister Maria established Novel Notion with a clear purpose: to provide unions and like-minded organizations with promotional products that were practical, dignified, and representative of the people they served. From the beginning, the company focused not just on selling items, but on helping clients present themselves professionally at conventions, meetings, and community events.
Over the decades, Novel Notion has grown alongside its clients, expanding into branded apparel, conference materials, event support, and a wide range of everyday promotional products designed to keep organizations visible year-round.
